Bionix Products in BelizeThe Lighted Ear Curette Top
"...I just wanted to say thank you so much again for the Lighted Ear Curettes. Without being able to remove cerumen from many of the people we saw, it would have been nearly impossible to get good test results from them, much less make earmolds. The lighted ear curettes were the perfect solution, not only were they easy to use, but they also were more effective than some of the otolights and curette combination I and my fellow students have used in the past. ...And what was neat is that because they looked like little wands, the kids were actually interested in them rather than being afraid of them."

Bionix Products in Belize"All of the doctors and nurses who tried them were very impressed.
A family practitioner from Austin, Texas, wants to order some when he gets home. An emergency department nurse from Abilene, Texas wants to do the same. Dr. Sid Tate, our family practitioner at the  Namwianga Rural Health Care Centre in Kalomo, Zambia, received 2/3 of the supply of ear curettes. He emphatically stated that, 'These are the best instruments I've ever used.' I promised to buy the new instruments as soon as they are available.Dr. Ellen Little is a pediatrician in Kampala, Uganda. She was equally impressed with these little gems and I gave her 1/3 of the supply for her clinic. I look forward to using the final product in my practice and in the field in Africa."

Enteral Feeding Tube DeCloggers® Top
"If we changed eleven G -Tubes a month instead of using the Bionix DeCloggers, our company would lose $330.00. That is a considerable savings. I estimate we are able to save over half our G -Tubes.

The Controlled Flow® Baby Feeder Top
"I have been a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist for the past ten years. During these past ten years I have worked with babies with dysphagia in home health, early intervention and outpatient settings. I have experienced the frustrations of getting patients to transition from npo to po feeds and helping the baby with reflux tolerate feeding.I have incorporated the Controlled Flow Baby Feeder into my practice with my patients and have had wonderful success. My patients have been able to transition to po feeds at their pace. The therapist can read the child's cues as they are feeding and adjust the flow rate in real time. There is no longer the pause in changing nipple flow rates or moving to a non-nutritive suck with a pacifier. It can all be done with this bottle. It has proven to be a valuable feeding instrument! It is the first bottle I try with a child. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to feeding therapists and other professionals who work with pediatric dysphagia patients."

Julia Hoppe, M.Ed. CCC/SLP

"I have worked as a pediatric SLP for 15 years specializing in feeding and swallowing disorders. Each year I anxiously anticipate the arrival of a product that will help control the flow rate so my medically fragile and preemie babies can become successful feeders without developing sensory based feeding aversions. The Controlled Flow Bottle has been the answer!!!I begin all my feedings with the device as a first step toward transitioning to oral feeds. Whether I use it for a few feedings or for long periods of time w/ my complicated infants, this product has proven to build successful avenues for my most difficult patients!!"

Christine McClure, M.Ed. CCC/SLP

"As a mom of a preemie infant, the most difficult thing for me leaving the hospital was not being able to feed my baby. My son had many critical issues preventing him from feeding orally. The Controlled Flow Baby Feeder allowed me to feed my baby for the first time without any fear. Because I was able to slow down the rate of the formula, my son didn't change color, fuss or cry when he ate. It was the first time he actually enjoyed drinking from a bottle! It was also the first time I wasn't afraid to give my baby a bottle because I felt he could handle slow flow without choking. This bottle has made a huge difference with my confidence in feeding my baby!"

Connie H.

"I don’t feel as discouraged feeding Hannah. Before the Controlled Flow bottle I felt like I was drowning her, now she can take her bottle comfortably even when she is sleepy.I have noticed when Hannah is really engaged in her feeding I try to dial up to a four and when she gets tired I can dial down to a two and keep her engaged longer. The Controlled Flow Baby Feeder has made feeding time what it should be, a pleasurable bonding time."

Annie Miller, RN and Mommy

"Our Speech and Language folks liked it so much (Bionix Controlled Flow Baby Feeder), I ordered a box of 12. We received that order and are using them. I don't know who thought up this idea, but it is awesome, one of the best new devices for neonates in the last ten years. Thanks!"

Chris Smith, Neonatal CNS T. Jefferson Univ.Hospital

“I was given your contact information from Elaine Goode who works in a Pediatric Clinic in Terre Haute, Indiana. Elaine is who helped us get a Bionix (Bionix Controlled Flow Baby Feeder) bottle. Without this bottle, my baby would have had the worst time eating. My baby, who is now 4 months old, was born a month premature. While in the hospital they discovered he suffered from severe acid reflux and was not able to keep his food down. He did great when I breastfed but as soon as he was given a bottle he would spit everything back up. They also told me that until he was able to keep his food down after feedings, he was going to have to stay in the hospital in the NICU. Elaine brought us one of your bottles and almost instantly we saw an improvement. It was great how you control the flow and now that Liam is eating more it's great that the nipple fits onto bigger bottles! I only wish the hospital would use these bottles, I feel that my baby would not have had to stay in there as long if they did. Once again, thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Sarah Campbel

“I am currently using the Control Flow Baby Feeder on an infant I've been working with who is on trach/vent. It is WONDERFUL!! She is able to suck on a pacifier but has been overwhelmed with the presentation of formula, even with slow flow nipples. This was a perfect slow approach for her to go from non-nutritive sucking to small tastes. It was a very enjoyable experience for her...she smiled in between sucking sequences...no evidence of gagging or orally pooling the formula!! I am very pleased with the results!”

Lori Johnson, MS, CCC-SLP

SafeStraw - A Volume Limiting Drinking Aid  Top
“I have used the SafeStraw with a variety of patients. It has been consistently effective for my patients with head injuries by controlling  the effects of impulsive drinking. By limiting volume per suck, It has also prevented aspiration in my patients who have decreased oral motor control following a stroke. It makes my patients feel safe and dignified, as they are able to discreetly use the device in restaurants after leaving the hospital.”
